The
Commission for Higher Education (CHE) invites competent interested suppliers
to apply for pre-qualification for the supply of the under listed goods and
services for the Financial Year 2008/2009.
Current suppliers should apply afresh.

only) Pre-qualification documents can be obtained from the
office of Assistant Commission Secretary (Procurement) at Commission for
Higher Education offices on Redhill Road off Limuru Road, Gigiri, during
normal working hours, Monday to Friday, from 8.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m.
upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Kshs 2,000.00 (Two thousand only) per category in form of cash or
banker cheque payable to the Commission for Higher
Education. All applicants must have Personal Identification Number (P.I.N.) and Value Added Tax (VAT)
registration certificates. Completed application forms must be enclosed in plain
sealed envelopes quoting the reference number as shown in the above list
should be deposited in the Tender Box located at the Commission reception, or
be addressed to: The

reach on or before Friday 20th June 2008 at noon. The documents will be opened immediately thereafter at the

Development
of a Master Plan and a Research Policy for CHE The Commission for Higher
Education (CHE) is a state corporation established under the Universities
Act (Cap.210B) of 1985 and mandated to make better provisions for
the advancement and quality assurance of university education in The Commission is seeking
eligible consultants to indicate interest in:
i)
Tender
No: CHE/35/2008-2009: Development of a
Master Plan for the Commission for Higher Education.
ii)
Tender No:
CHE/36/2008-2009: Development of a
Research Policy for the Commission for Higher Education. Potential consultants are
required to provide adequate information on qualification and competence level,
Consultant Profile, including business details, skills and specific
experience in performing similar work and give references of previous
work. In addition, applicants will be
required to complete a business questionnaire obtainable from CHE offices during
normal working hours, Monday to Friday, from 8.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m.
